Petaluma, Calif.—Scott Laboratories hired new sales representatives for the Midwest and Northeast regions of the United States. Luke Holcombe is the new representative for the Midwest market. Holcombe is a graduate of California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo and the former winemaker for Post Familie Vineyards & Winery in Altus, Ark. The new Northeast representative, Katie Cook, received her masters degree in enology from The University of Burgundy in Dijon, France, and worked harvests in Napa Valley, Argentina, France and Australia before becoming the enology project leader at the University of Minnesota. Cook lives in the Finger Lakes region of New York where she is also the assistant winemaker for Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyards.
