New CEO for Netafim

John Vikupitz was promoted to president and CEO of Netafim USA, Fresno, Calif., manufacturer of drip irrigation systems. He succeeds Igal Aisenberg, named president and co-CEO of corporate Netafim Ltd. Vikupitz has spent 20 years at Netafim in sales and marketing management.

Laffort introduces new products

Laffort, French producer of winemaking supplies, announced new products for the 2009 crush. Lactoenos 350 PreAc is a new bacteria strain resistant to low pH, with high malolactic activities; Bioarom is a yeast nutrient for aroma preservation of white and rosé wines; Tannin VR Color is a catechin tannin for color stabilization with soft mouthfeel. SPG secures funding for expansion

SPG Holdings LLC, parent of SPG Solar Inc. and Thompson Technologies Industries Inc., Novato, Calif., obtained $13 million in equity financing through the Global Environment Fund and Robeco, to support domestic and international growth.
