ShipCompliant celebrates 100th customer

ShipCompliant, Boulder, Colo., announced the 100th alcohol beverage supplier to adopt its digital wholesale compliance tool, illustrating the industry’s shift from 75-year-old paper-based, three-tier compliance processes to a digital wholesale compliance model. Wilson Daniels joined 99 other wine and spirits suppliers including Pernod Ricard, Palm Bay International, Banfi, Tolosa Winery and B.R. Cohn Winery in making the switch to ShipCompliant. CrushPad moves to Sonoma
After exactly a year in the Napa Valley, CrushPad is moving to Sonoma. Specializing in small-lot winemaking, the facility will move 18 miles west, into Sonoma’s 300,000-case Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery, now owned by investor Bill Foley’s Foley Family Wines. CrushPad founder and CEO Michael Brill says that Foley is coming in as a “significant” but not majority stockholder. M.A. Silva USA appoints Du Bois and Borges
To accommodate the recent addition of glass to its product line, M.A. Silva Corks USA, Santa Rosa, Calif., has appointed longtime wine industry professional Richard Du Bois as the new product specialist for glass bottles and Terry Borges as sales representative for cork and glass. With more than 20 years of management experience in winery operations, Du Bois brings industry expertise in glass and bottling to M.A. Silva Corks USA. Gorman-Rupp goes green
The Gorman-Rupp Co., a manufacturer of pumps and pumping-related equipment, announced that its Mansfield Division in Mansfield, Ohio, achieved certification to ISO 14001:2004 for its environmental management system.
